Imaging & Diagnostic Services
TriStar Horizon and Natchez Imaging Center offer state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging capabilities. Our expertly trained, accredited staff works to ensure an effortless and comfortable imaging experience for you. Services include Diagnostic Imaging Procedures such as general radiology, flouroscopy, CT scanning, MRI, Ultrasound, Angiography and other invasive special procedures (TriStar Horizon only), Nuclear Medicine (TriStar Horizon only) and Digital Mammography (Natchez Imaging Center). We offer advanced diagnostic imaging for MRI. Our MRI uses EXCITE technology with a short-bore magnet. This provides high-quality images in a relaxed, open environment. Our CT capabilities include Computed Tomography Angiography (CTA) for the most detailed images available in the area. For additional information, contact (615) 326-2667 or (615)326-2900.
- If you might be pregnant, please call the number above before your scheduled appointment time.
- If your physician gave you X-rays to bring with you, please do not forget them. (Very important)
- If you have had any previous reaction to X-ray IV contrast agents, please call this number above at least 2-3 days prior to your scheduled appointment.
- If you have a question regarding your exam or the preparation for the exam, please do not hesitate to call us. A technologist will be available should you need them.
- If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment, you must call (615) 695-7237 to notify and reschedule.
Central Scheduling
The majority of routine, outpatient and inpatient appointments are made through the central scheduling office. When calling to make an appointment, the following information should be available:
- Patient Name
- Date of Birth
- Home Telephone
- Work Telephone
- Weight
- Diagnosis/Symptoms
- Procedure/Test to be scheduled
- Type of Insurance
- Insurance Policy Number (if applicable)
Central Scheduling will request that a doctor's order be faxed or that patients bring the doctor's order with them on the day of testing. Patients who arrive for testing without a doctor's order (written or faxed) may have their test delayed. Confirm the order by contacting the doctor or his/her office.
On the day of the test, patients scheduled at TriStar Horizon should go directly to the Imaging Department on the first floor. If your test is scheduled at Natchez Image Center, go directly to the Center located on highway 46 north of I40.
